Your Will
Making a will is not usually a top priority for many people; however, it is very important.
Dying without a valid Will may result in your estate being distributed in accordance with the law only, as opposed to being distributed in accordance with your specific wishes. This could mean that people you wish would benefit may not, and those you do not want to benefit may end up with a large amount. It is also extremely important to ensure you have a Will in place if you have children under the age of 18, as a Will can outline who will care for them should the worst happen.
At Scotts, Hall & Birtles Solicitors, we have a highly experienced team of lawyers to assist you in making of a valid Will which truly reflects your testamentary intentions – giving you the power to choose exactly who receives your assets, who will care for your children, and who will be in charge of distributing your estate. We can also act as Professional Executors on your behalf, giving you reassurance that all the relevant legal duties are complied with.
