What to expect: the probate process
The initial meeting.
A gentle, no-obligation conversation to understand the estate, review the Will (if there is one), and advise on the level of support you need.
Valuing the estate.
We help you identify and formally value all assets (property, accounts, investments) and any outstanding debts.
Applying for the grant.
We prepare the inheritance tax returns for HMRC and draft the legal application to the Probate Registry.
Distributing assets.
Once the Grant is received, we collect the assets, settle any final liabilities, and safely distribute the inheritance to the correct beneficiaries.
