Job vacancy: Family Lawyer Consultant

Location: Leyburn and Richmond, North Yorkshire (hybrid working available)

Job Type: Consultant (Minimum three days per week)

Salary: % based - negotiable dependant on experience

We require a Family Law Solicitor with a minimum of three years’ experience to work on existing matters and create new business. The role is based in Leyburn, North Yorkshire, with offices in Richmond and Hawes. Hybrid working is available.

We specialise in a variety of areas of law, including privately funded family law matters such as divorce, financial settlements, cohabitee disputes, and prenuptial agreements.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload while meeting client expectations, court deadlines, and billing targets. Strong communication, time management, and client care skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling a range of family law matters on a privately funded basis

• Drafting legal documents, attending client meetings, and representing clients at hearings

• Meeting financial and time recording targets

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 5pm, minimum three days
